Responsibilities:
- Enthusiastically promote a customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
- Serving customers as part of a team by anticipating their needs, initiating conversation, offering assistance and advice and remembering that “the customer is always right”
- Performing table set-up, running side work, and closing duties
- Possessing extensive knowledge of the restaurant’s menu and wine list, including daily specials
- Checking identification to ensure customers meet minimum age requirements for consuming alcoholic beverages
- Checking identification to ensure customers are using players cards issued to them and no one else
- Removes items from table when customers have finished meals
- Computing customer checks, operates the POS system and accepts payments
- Reporting tips for each shift
- Maintaining bar safety and sanitation standards
- Possessing awareness of potential hazards, which could cause, but are not limited to, slipping, tripping, falling or burns
- Arriving for each shift on time and in full uniform
- Attending all pre-shift meetings ready to “listen and learn” and share ideas
- Avoiding leaving work area during peak periods
- Taking breaks only when approved by the Manager
- Keeping a clean and professional appearance at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
- Must have six months or more related experience
- Must have open work availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Compensation:
- $9.00/hr plus tips
Base Pay Range:
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.
