Additionally, you will be responsible for IT operations in the absence of the Director of IT.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nManage the overall operations of the IT department\nOversee the overall functionality and efficiency of the company’s IT systems\nDesigns, specifies, configures, installs, and maintains local area network hardware, software, and telecommunications services.\nDevelops and implements policies and procedures related to hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security, and backup.\nResponds to the needs and questions of users concerning their access to resources on the network & the operation of various software programs.\nEnsure the security of data, network access, and backups systems\nIdentify problematic areas and timely implement strategic solutions\nIdentify and propose unused system features that can impact operations or increase efficiency\nAudit systems and assess their outcome\nEstablish, implement, and enforce policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, Company initiatives, and organizational goals\nManage the department’s budget, including capital expenditures\nManage procurement of technology for the property\nSelect, train, and develop team members through education, training, coaching, and corrective action\nPerform quarterly ‘Step Up’ performance reviews for IT team members\nParticipate in IT support on-call rotation when required\nPerform other duties as assigned\nQUALIFICATIONS\nMust be 21 years of age or older\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board\nMust have a four-year degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar, or a combination of education and experience\nMust have three years of working experience as an IT Manager\nMust have knowledge of all casino game rules\nMust have excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and of computer hardware/software systems\nMust have knowledge of all applicable gaming regulations\nMust have expertise in data center management and data governance\nMust have hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation\nStrong organizational, planning, and supervisory skills are required\nMust have open work availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT\nFrequently required to lift up to a maximum of 30 pounds\nFrequently required to push, kneel, climb, stoop, bend, and twist, as well as reach overhead\nThe work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.\nBase Pay Range:\n$90,000 - $105,000\nThis range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position.
