In addition, you will provide essential analytical and organizational skills to support the accounting team best.\nResponsibilities:\nPrepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files\nPrepare monthly account reconciliations\nAssist in preparing the monthly budget and actual analysis\nPrepare consolidated monthly financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system \nUtilize the consolidated data to prepare footnote information for the 10Q and 10K\nAnswer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data, including working with external auditors and subsidiary accounting departments\nImplement accounting policies, including SOX narratives and flowcharts\nPerform other duties as assigned\nQualifications:\nMust be 21 years of age or older\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board \nMust have a bachelor’s degree in the field of finance or accounting\nMust have more than three years of experience in accounting or a related field\nPublic Accounting Certification (CPA) is preferred\nMust have strong mathematical and analytical skills\nMust be proficient in Microsoft Suite\nPhysical Demands & Work Environment:\nFrequently required to lift up to a maximum of 30 pounds \nRequires manual dexterity to operate a keyboard\nThe work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.\nBase Pay Range:\n$60,000 - $65,000\nThis range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.\nVoluntary full-time employment benefits include medical, dental, and vision; life, AD&D, critical illness, and hospital insurance; short and long-term disability; identity/legal protection; as well as access to FSA and HSA accounts.
