Eligible locations are subject to change based on business needs and employment registration requirements.\nClearance Requirement: Active Secret Security Clearance required at time of employment\nCompensation Range: $94,919 - $134,919 annually (dependent upon experience)\nTravel Requirement: N/A\nPosition Summary\nThe Data Analyst supports a complex NATO SATCOM terminal acquisition, deployment, logistics, sustainment, and lifecycle support program. This position is responsible for collecting, validating, analyzing, and reporting operational, engineering, logistics, reliability, maintenance, training, supply chain, and program performance data to support critical decision-making throughout the program lifecycle.\nThe Data Analyst transforms large volumes of technical and operational data into meaningful insights that improve performance, readiness, sustainment outcomes, and lifecycle support planning for NATO Fly-Away SATCOM Terminal systems. The role works closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Support (IPS), Reliability Engineering, Configuration Management, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain Management, Cybersecurity, and In-Service Support teams to develop dashboards, performance metrics, trend analyses, predictive reporting, and data-driven recommendations.\nSupervisory position: Y N\nKey Responsibilities\nCollect, organize, analyze, and report program performance metrics across multiple task orders and delivery phases.\nDevelop and maintain dashboards supporting program status, delivery performance, schedule adherence, quality metrics, service-level compliance, and risk management.\nSupport Project Status Reports (PSRs), In-Service Support Reports (ISSRs), and executive management briefings.\nAnalyze trends affecting cost, schedule, quality, operational readiness, and sustainment performance.\nDevelop and maintain Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Testability (RAMT) performance metrics.\nAnalyze MTBF, MTBCF, MTTR, availability metrics, fault detection, and fault isolation performance.\nSupport reliability engineering analyses and reliability improvement initiatives.\nAnalyze logistics support data, spare parts consumption, provisioning lead times, repair cycle times, inventory utilization, and supply chain performance.\nGenerate sustainment, provisioning, maintenance, and supportability reports.\nAnalyze maintenance and repair data using DRACAS methodologies.\nDevelop dashboards and reporting supporting warranty and post-warranty activities.\nMaintain Product Support Databases (PSDBs) and validate engineering, logistics, configuration, and maintenance data integrity.\nDesign and maintain executive dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and automated reporting solutions.\nConduct predictive analytics, trend forecasting, anomaly detection, and risk assessments.\nSupport configuration management activities through data validation and traceability analysis.\nAnalyze training effectiveness, certification rates, readiness metrics, and training performance data.\nSupport cybersecurity and quality assurance initiatives through compliance reporting, audit analytics, and corrective action tracking.\nPresent findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation\nAssociate’s Degree in one of the following: Data Analytics, Statistics Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or Related Technical Discipline.\nExperience\nMinimum 8 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, logistics analytics, engineering analytics, or program analytics.\nExperience analyzing large data sets in defense, aerospace, telecommunications, logistics, or government environments.\nExperience creating executive dashboards and KPI reporting.\nDemonstrated ability to transform complex technical data into actionable business insights.\nExperience working with cross-functional technical and operational teams.\nCompensation - Salary\nAt Fairwinds, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience. Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location and experience.
