Eligible locations are subject to change based on business needs and employment registration requirements.\nClearance Requirement: Active Secret Security Clearance required at time of employment\nCompensation Range: $56,487 - $97,487 annually (dependent upon experience)\nTravel Requirement: N/A\nPosition Summary\nThe Logistics Analyst supports Integrated Product Support (IPS), supply chain operations, provisioning, inventory management, maintenance planning, repair management, transportation coordination, obsolescence management, and lifecycle sustainment activities for deployable SATCOM terminal systems. This position works closely with Program Management, Engineering, Configuration Management, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Training, and In-Service Support teams to ensure operational readiness, system supportability, and long-term lifecycle performance of mission-critical communications systems.\nSupervisory position: Y N\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport development and maintenance of Integrated Product Support Plans (IPSPs) and In-Service Support Plans (ISSPs).\nAssist with lifecycle sustainment planning and execution for SATCOM systems.\nCoordinate supportability analyses with engineering, maintenance, supply chain, and program teams.\nSupport development and maintenance of Initial Provisioning Lists (IPL), Recommended Spare Parts Lists (RSPL), Consumable Item Lists (RCIL), Tools and Test Equipment Lists (RTTL), and Bills of Material (BOMs).\nMonitor inventory levels, serialized assets, repairable items, and critical spare parts.\nMaintain inventory records in accordance with approved configuration baselines.\nSupport stock optimization, replenishment planning, and lifecycle replacement efforts.\nCoordinate repair activities, warranty support, depot repairs, and OEM repairs.\nTrack Repair Cycle Times (RCT), Provisioning Lead Times (PLT), and logistics performance metrics.\nSupport DRACAS investigations and corrective action initiatives.\nCoordinate procurement and replenishment of materials, spare parts, and support equipment.\nMonitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and lead times.\nSupport obsolescence management activities including lifecycle monitoring and mitigation planning.\nCoordinate Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHST) activities.\nPrepare and maintain logistics documentation, shipment records, packing lists, customs documentation, and material movement records.\nMaintain Product Support Database (PSDB) records, including part numbers, maintenance data, inventory records, and asset information.\nAssist with logistics support analyses, including Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Operation and Maintenance Task Analysis (O&MTA), and supportability assessments.\nPrepare logistics reports, readiness assessments, and sustainment performance metrics.\nParticipate in customer meetings, logistics reviews, audits, provisioning conferences, and sustainment planning efforts.\nProvide logistics expertise supporting system deployment, sustainment, acceptance, and transition-to-operations activities.\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation\nAssociate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Engineering, Military Logistics, or a related field.\nEquivalent military logistics experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements.\nExperience\nMinimum 8 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, provisioning, sustainment, or Integrated Product Support.\nExperience supporting defense, aerospace, SATCOM, telecommunications, military, or government programs.\nExperience with inventory management, repair operations, provisioning activities, and sustainment support.\nExperience collaborating with technical and engineering teams in complex program environments.\nFamiliarity with logistics support analysis, lifecycle sustainment planning, and supply support planning.\nCompensation - Salary\nAt Fairwinds, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience. Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location and experience.
