In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment labels are created, sourced and received by our manufacturing teams in a timely manner as to not disrupt the flow of production. You will act as the primary technical authority for all equipment labeling and play a critical role in ensuring the absolute organization and functionality of the labeling station within the manufacturing process.\nThe ideal candidate is a hands-on team player who bridges the gap between the engineering and manufacturing teams, ensuring our manufacturing teams receive the correctly kitted label sets\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nEducation: An associate’s degree in engineering, working towards a bachelor’s degree in engineering, or comparable work experience\nExperience: 0-3 years of experience in Engineering or related field. ERP system experience, ability to think critically and troubleshoot preferred.\nTravel: 0-10%\nWork Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Works a sufficient schedule to meet the expectations of the role.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nAbility to manage multiple projects at once\nBe adaptable to unforeseen production changes\nMaintain and accurate record keeping system\nUse of a Brady printer or similar to create self-adhesive labels\nUse of the ERP system and standard forms to order external labels\nManage inventory of the labeling station\nClear and concise communication\nWith Engineering when there are changes to BOMs, specifications, etc.\nWith Procurement for placing orders or communicating material defects\nWith Production when kitting and organizing labels\nReading and interpretation of engineering drawings and documentation\nOptimize process flow in order to assure optimal labelling efficiency\nPerforms other related duties as required and assigned.\nThe job description and responsibilities described are intended to provide guidelines for job expectations and the employee's ability to perform the position described.
