This role goes beyond traditional industrial engineering by driving strategic initiatives, leading cross-functional projects, and deploying advanced tools to improve productivity, quality, cost, safety, and scalability. The role typically operates across multiple sites or programs and is expected to set methodology and standards that other Industrial Engineers follow.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.\nExperience: 3-5+ years of Industrial or Operations Engineering\nTravel: This is a remote role with travel to our Excellerate facilities up to 25% of the time.\nWork Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDesign and optimize end-to-end manufacturing and operational processes for efficiency, quality, and scalability.\nLead advanced time studies, line balancing, capacity modeling, throughput optimization, and simulation-based flow analysis to support data-driven decisions.\nDevelop standard work, labor models, and ergonomic solutions for complex manufacturing environments.\nApply Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints to identify and eliminate waste across operations.\nCreate cost models, make-vs-buy analyses, and ROI justifications for capital and process investments.\nInfluence product design through DFMA, tolerance analysis, error-proofing, and assembly feasibility studies.\nLead NPI industrialization efforts, including production layouts, material flow, and ramp-up strategies.\nDrive continuous improvement through Kaizen events, KPI development, and cross-functional leadership.\nChampion safety and ergonomic compliance (OSHA and applicable ISO standards) in all process and layout designs.\nPerforms other related duties as required and assigned.\nThe job description and responsibilities described are intended to provide guidelines for job expectations and the employee's ability to perform the position described.
