The QA/QC Field Engineer is expected to attend regular project meetings, support the setup and maintenance of the QA/QC software(s), coordinate internally and with other contractors, and assist the Project Manager with tracking of status, labor, financials, and contract requirements. This role also supports the technical tools (i.e. iPads, QA/QC software), communicates project specifications needed, and any support details/drawings needed for QA/QC tasks (i.e. details of equipment layout, dimensions, equipment gear windows, RFI & Submittal updates) needed to keep the installation and QA/QC resources efficient.\nThe ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, willing and able to learn project checklist and issue management software packages, and able to effectively communicate with a broad range of teams. Knowledge of electrical terminology and components is preferred.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nEducation: High School Diploma or GED\nExperience: 4 years of related experience\nor\nEducation: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management\nTravel: 0-100%\nWork Schedule: Schedule may vary and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays. Overtime may be required. Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nLeads training needs for technology tools, software applications, and SOP’s.\nUnderstands relational data sets for equipment and feeders and able to generate reports from such data.\nEnsures detailed procedures and checklists are in place to document that equipment is installed and energized to the project requirements, applicable standards, as well as customer requirements and specifications.\nAssembles project information that documents that the installation conforms to project requirements, applicable standards as well as customer requirements.\nCollects and enters data for KPI reporting and visual reporting.\nProvides support material and reports to project leads as required.\nProvides support for commissioning activities.\nPerforms other related duties as required and assigned.\nThe job description and responsibilities described are intended to provide guidelines for job expectations and the employee's ability to perform the position described.
