You'll be working on developer and community events, meetups, webinars, third-party events, partner programs, ABM activations, and other marketing moments as our event portfolio grows.\nWe’re looking for someone who is equally comfortable building a run of show, configuring a webinar platform, coordinating speakers, working with vendors, and being onsite making sure every detail comes together.\nThis role is based in San Francisco.\nWhat you’ll do\nOwn end-to-end execution for community and developer programs, including meetups, workshops, hackathons, dinners, and other gatherings\n\nProduce webinars/livestreams and virtual events from setup through live execution, including platform configuration, registration, speaker prep, rehearsals, technical production, and post-event follow-up\n\nPartner closely with Community Marketing to translate programming ideas into well-run, memorable experiences for developers and creators\n\nSupport select third-party conferences, partner activations, customer programs, ABM events, and other initiatives as needed\n\nBuild event timelines, project plans, run-of-shows, staffing plans, and Know Before You Go documentation\n\nCoordinate venues, vendors, production partners, catering, swag, shipping, registration, and onsite logistics\n\nManage speakers and internal stakeholders, keeping teams aligned on deadlines, roles, and event objectives\n\nHelp manage event budgets and contracts and keep programs on scope and on schedule\n\nPartner with Marketing, Community, Sales, Partnerships, Brand, and other cross-functional teams\n\nTrack attendance, engagement, feedback, and other program results, and use learnings to continuously improve future events\n\nHelp build repeatable processes and playbooks as fal’s event portfolio scales\n\nQualifications/Nice-to-haves\n5+ years of experience in event marketing, event production, developer marketing, community marketing, field marketing, or a related role\n\nExperience owning events end-to-end, from initial planning through onsite or live execution\n\nHands-on experience producing webinars or virtual events and confidence managing the technical details behind them\n\nStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs, stakeholders, and deadlines at once\n\nExcellent attention to detail and a high bar for the attendee experience\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\n\nA collaborative, low-ego working style and comfort partnering across technical and non-technical teams\n\nThe ability to operate independently, solve problems quickly, and stay calm when plans change\n\nComfort working in a fast-moving environment where not every process or playbook already exists\n\nAbility to travel as needed for events\n\nExperience working with developer, creator, startup, or technical communities\n\nExperience at an AI, developer tools, infrastructure, or high-growth technology company\n\nExperience with event registration, webinar, CRM, or marketing automation platforms\n\nFamiliarity with hackathons, developer workshops, or hands-on technical programming\n\nWhat we offer at fal\nInteresting and challenging work\n\nA lot of learning and growth opportunities\n\nWe offer visa sponsorship and will help you relocate to San Francisco.\n\nHealth, dental, and vision insurance (US)\n\nRegular team events and offsites\n\nCompensation\n$180,000 -
