To have an in-depth knowledge of Control Room equipment and procedures\n11. Fully competent in all Control Room systems and procedures\n12. Ensure equipment is available at all times\n13. Analyse/report faults and carry out appropriate remedial actions\nSkills/ Qualifications:\nEssential\nCompetent in the use of Microsoft Office IT packages\nGood numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE Grade C or equivalent or above)\nExcellent level of communication skills\nGood IT skills\nGood time manager with tenacity and ability to work under pressure.\nA great concern for standards\nA great concern for detail\nCustomer care relations\nGood teamwork skills\nExperience in emergency Control Room\nFull UK Clean Driving License & Access to a vehicle.\nDesirable\nSIA License (Training & License will be funded by the business on starting)\nCustomer care training NVQ level 2\nHazmat Level 1 training\nRemuneration & Benefits:\nAs a casual worker, you will be paid in arrears for work carried out in the previous month.\nDeployment Payments Include: Deployment for 12hr shift - £170.16, Deployment for 2.3hr shift - £117.69, Training & Familiarisation - £117.69\nDeployment on one of the 8 public holidays will be paid at double time for the deployment payment.\nThe hours of work will vary, and you will be informed of the hours required when offered work.\nYou may be offered work including day shifts, nights, weekends, bank or public holidays in line with the needs of the company or its clients.\nHoliday entitlements will depend on the number of hours that you actually work and will be accrued on the basis of 12.07% of your earnings year to date and will be pro-rated on the basis of a full-time worker's entitlement, up to a maximum of 5.6 weeks' holiday during each holiday year (inclusive of bank holidays).\nIf eligible, the organisation will auto-enrol you into the company’s pension scheme, in accordance with its pension’s auto-enrolment obligations after the first 3 months of employment.
