The Engineer collaborates with other team members to ensure all mechanical systems including chillers, cooling tower, boilers, and air handling units (AHUs) operate reliably, safely, and efficiently. This role includes providing hands on training on chillers, boilers, pumps, and AHU maintenance and operation to support skills to develop other engineers. The Engineer ensures the physical building and grounds are presentable and safe for staff and visitors and oversees building and card access assignments and removals as needed.\nPOSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nFacility Management and Usage Systems \nInteract with all departments and tenants in FCS facilities to ensure that offices are functioning to highest level \nWork with IT to establish and maintain electronic building request & response system \nWorks with IT to establish and maintain electronic conference room schedules. Oversee usage including coordination of audiovisual needs\nBuilding Automation System (BAS) \nAssist with troubleshooting BAS related issues impacting HVAC and plant operations \nHelp replace BAS components, including sensors, actuators, and controllers. \nAssist with limited programming configuration, and setpoints adjustments. \nWork with Third party BAS contractors for repairs, and upgrades.\nElectrical \nMonitor internal lighting systems for replacement of lights, safety issues, maintenance, and repair \nMonitor staff usage of personal lighting equipment ensuring that all lighting meets UL standards\nSite Safety and Security \nHelp manage Card Access System Software \nAssist in programming of elevators \nAssist in issuing and tracking access cards \nHelp with conducting fire drills \nHelp ensure compliance with all agency safety policies \nComply with building and safety code requirements, including annual inspection of elevator and fire suppression equipment and extinguishers \nIdentify and communicate any safety concerns with appropriate Supervisors\nFacility Standards of Appearance \nResponsible for monitoring and assuring that sites maintain high standards for lobby appearance, client pamphlets, and agency materials \nPerform daily walk through to monitor all areas\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEDUCATION:\nMust be a high school graduate or have HS equivalent\nEXPERIENCE:\nMinimum of Two (2) years of hands on experience operating plant equipment, including boilers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and HVAC systems \nExperience with facilities management and building operations \nProven emergency response capability and customer focused service \nExperience with preventive maintenance programs and operational efficiency \nExperience working with Building Automation Systems, including troubleshooting, component replacement, and basic programming or configuration\nPERFORMANCE COMPETENCIES: \nCommunication \nDecision Making \nEngagement \nInitiative and Accountability \nInterpersonal \nLearning \nOrganizational Alignment \nQuality of Work\nKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:\nAbility to maintain a professional manner at all times. \nAbility to work with public and maintain effective working relationships. \nStrong customer service orientation with effective oral and written communication skills \nAbility to work cooperatively with staff and maintain professional working relationships \nAbility to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and BAS related issues \nAbility to communicate technical information clearly to leadership and vendors\nCERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:\n1st Class Stationary Engineer Required\nSAFETY SENSITIVE JOB CLASSIFICATION:\nThis job is classified as a “safety-sensitive” position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act.
