Fanatics Betting and Gaming is headquartered in New York with offices in Denver, Leeds and Dublin.\nWe are seeking a Data Analyst III to join our Sportsbook organization in the Product Analytics team.\nThis role will focus on creating insights to drive product development and enhance business performance. The individual will partner closely with senior stakeholders in the Sportsbook Product team and be responsible for supporting them with testing, performance tracking, reporting, and ad-hoc queries.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop a strong understanding of Fanatics Betting and Gaming, with particular focus on the Sportsbook. \nBuild strong relationships with internal stakeholders, becoming a key contributor to data-driven decision-making within the Sportsbook Product team.\nSupport the Sportsbook Product team with testing, analysis and reporting as they develop the product and optimize user experiences. \nBe a hands-on analyst, creating insights both regular and ad hoc. Gather and present insights metrics and activities to key stakeholders, becoming a trusted source of intelligence and advisory over time. \nCollaborate with Analysts and Data Scientists to find solutions to business problems.\nRemain current on technology and trends in data analytics and the sports betting & gaming industry.\nExperience\nA minimum of 5 years proven experience in an analytics role\nPrevious experience in the betting and gaming industry is a significant plus\nTechnical skills\nDegree in a relevant field, e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science\nStrong SQL proficiency\nProficiency in a statistical programming language, e.g. R or Python\nProficiency with data visualization and reporting tools, e.g. Tableau or PowerBI\nStrong proficiency in data analysis or mathematical model development, with a strong understanding of statistics concepts such as multivariate testing\nExperience using code repositories, e.g. GitHub\nExperience with Amplitude a plus\nNon technical skills\nDemonstrated ability to partner closely with stakeholders, earning trust and prioritizing relationships\nCustomer focused; highly outcome-oriented and data-driven; experienced in working in high-growth environments\nLogical and analytical approach to problem solving, with strong organizational and communication skills\nDepending on the role, your interview and onboarding experience may include in-person components, such as onsite interviews or Launching into Better: LIVE-a multi-day cultural immersion in New York City for full-time, non-seasonal hires.
