Our mission is to deliver performant systems, high-design polish, and data-driven growth experiences that engage the next generation of fans.\nThe Role\nWe’re hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer (TP3) to join the Growth Engineering team, focused on driving user acquisition, engagement, retention, and experimentation across Topps, Fanatics Live, and Fanatics Collect.\nThis role sits at the intersection of product experimentation, analytics, and platform engineering. The engineer in this role will independently design and deliver scalable full stack solutions, contribute to experimentation infrastructure, and partner cross-functionally to improve growth outcomes across consumer-facing products.\nAs a TP3 engineer, this individual is expected to operate with increasing autonomy, solve moderately complex technical problems, contribute to architectural discussions, and influence engineering best practices while delivering measurable business impact.\nThis role reports to the Director of Engineering, Topps.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, build, test, deploy, and maintain full stack features that drive user growth, engagement, and conversion across Topps, Fanatics Live, and Fanatics Collect.\nDevelop scalable frontend and backend solutions using modern web technologies and engineering best practices.\nEnsure analytics data integrity and consistency across platforms, including instrumentation, tracking pipelines, attribution, and validation frameworks.\nDesign and implement experimentation capabilities such as A/B testing frameworks, feature flags, and growth experimentation tooling.\nPartner cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, Analytics, and Marketing teams to translate growth hypotheses into scalable technical solutions.\nOptimize web and mobile experiences with a focus on performance, usability, reliability, and measurable business outcomes.\nIdentify and resolve issues impacting data quality, experimentation accuracy, and reporting reliability.\nParticipate in system design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions that improve scalability and engineering velocity.\nContribute to shared platform capabilities supporting cross-product growth initiatives.\nParticipate in code reviews, operational support, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nMentor junior engineers through collaboration, technical guidance, and engineering best practices.\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of professional experience building and scaling modern web applications across frontend and backend systems.\nStrong proficiency in full stack development using technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, or equivalent modern frameworks.\nExperience designing and maintaining analytics tracking systems, event instrumentation, attribution pipelines, and experimentation tooling.\nExperience building scalable APIs, distributed systems, and performant consumer-facing applications.\nFamiliarity with A/B testing frameworks, experimentation platforms, and feature flagging systems.\nStrong understanding of system architecture, API design, observability, and performance optimization.\nExperience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, Data Science, and Marketing stakeholders.\nAbility to independently drive technical solutions from design through production deployment.\nStrong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working on Growth Engineering or product growth-focused teams.\nFamiliarity with tools such as Segment, Amplitude, Snowflake, or similar analytics and experimentation platforms.\nExperience building for mobile platforms, including React Native, native mobile applications, or mobile web optimization.\nExperience supporting high-traffic consumer-facing platforms with rapid experimentation cycles.\nInterest in collectibles, live commerce, fan engagement, or marketplace platforms.\nDesired Attributes\nDemonstrates ownership and accountability for technical outcomes and operational excellence.\nComfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments with shifting priorities.\nStrong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.\nPassion for building high-quality user experiences and data-informed product solutions.\nGrowth mindset with eagerness to continuously learn, adapt, and support team development.\nAbility to balance experimentation velocity with long-term platform scalability and maintainability.\nCode-Writing Contribution\nThis role requires active hands-on software development across frontend and backend systems.
