This team partners closely with Customer Experience (CX), Trust & Safety, Fraud Prevention, Payments, and Financial Operations organizations to build scalable systems and operational tooling that support millions of users and transactions globally.\nThe Role\nAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of scalable operational systems that support Customer Experience, Trust & Safety, Fraud Prevention, and Financial Operations across Fanatics Collectibles’ global platforms.\nLead design and implementation of scalable operational platforms and backend services\nArchitect systems supporting customer operations, fraud detection workflows, dispute management, payment operations, and trust tooling\nDrive technical initiatives that improve automation, operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability\nCollaborate with Product, Data, CX Operations, Compliance, and Finance stakeholders to define technical solutions\nImprove system observability, resiliency, monitoring, and operational readiness\nLead technical investigations, root-cause analysis, and incident response efforts\nMentor engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and technical coaching\nDrive engineering standards, development processes, and technical best practices\nBasic Qualifications\n6+ years of professional software engineering experience\nStrong experience designing scalable distributed systems and backend platforms\nExpertise in Python, Java, Kotlin, or Go\nStrong experience with AWS cloud-native architectures and services\nExperience with event-driven systems and service integrations\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills\nCode-Writing Contribution\nSenior Software Engineers are expected to design and implement complex backend systems, influence architectural direction through hands-on technical leadership, and deliver scalable, maintainable production code.\nEnsure your Fanatics job offer is legitimate and don’t fall victim to fraud.
