This role is responsible for engineering, administration, automation, governance, and operational support of the enterprise Microsoft 365 collaboration platform, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and related integrations.\nThe ideal candidate combines deep platform expertise with strong automation and troubleshooting skills. They are comfortable operating in both engineering and operational roles, driving platform enhancements, supporting critical incidents, developing automation solutions, implementing governance controls, and partnering with security, compliance, and business stakeholders.\nKey Responsibilities\nMicrosoft 365 Platform Engineering\nAdminister and engineer enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365 Groups, and Microsoft 365 Copilot.\nPerform day-to-day platform administration, configuration, maintenance, and service health monitoring.\nProactively identify platform risks, service issues, and improvement opportunities, and take ownership of follow-up through resolution.\nTroubleshoot escalated incidents and service issues, document findings, and support root-cause analysis.\nOpen, manage, and drive Microsoft support cases, working directly with Microsoft engineers to troubleshoot complex platform issues and validate resolutions.\nDevelop and maintain PowerShell scripts, Azure Automation runbooks, reports, and repeatable operational tools.\nSupport Microsoft Graph integrations and SharePoint application registrations, including permissions, authentication, certificates, and secrets.\nImplement established governance, security, lifecycle, retention, access, and compliance controls.\nTest platform changes and new Microsoft 365 capabilities, complete assigned implementation tasks, and follow change-management processes.\nCreate and maintain operational documentation, knowledge articles, dashboards, and support procedures.\nWork with engineering, security, identity, support, and business teams to resolve issues and deliver assigned platform improvements.\nParticipate in Agile planning, backlog refinement, incident response, and continuous improvement activities.\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years supporting enterprise Microsoft 365 environments.\nDeep expertise in:SharePoint Online\nMicrosoft Teams\nOneDrive for Business\nExchange Online\n\nAdvanced PowerShell scripting experience.\nExperience building Azure Automation Runbooks.\nExperience working with Microsoft Graph APIs.\nExperience with SharePoint application registrations, including Microsoft Entra ID app registrations, API permissions, authentication models, certificate and secret management, and governance of application access to SharePoint Online.\nStrong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.\nDemonstrated experience troubleshooting Microsoft 365 issues with Microsoft support, including case management, technical escalation, evidence collection, and resolution validation.\nExperience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.\nKnowledge of Microsoft 365 governance, compliance, and security capabilities.\nExperience with Agile delivery methodologies.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Microsoft Purview.\nExperience with Copilot governance and enablement.\nExperience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).\nExperience with application integrations and app governance.\nExperience with ShareGate or other migration tools.\nExperience supporting audit, risk, or compliance initiatives.\nMicrosoft 365 certifications.\nNice to Have\nSplunk dashboard development and reporting.\nKQL and log analytics experience.\nExperience creating operational monitoring solutions.\nExperience with REST APIs and automation frameworks.\nKnowledge of xMatters, ServiceNow, and enterprise workflow integrations.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nDelivers reliable automation that reduces manual operational effort.\nActs as a trusted subject matter expert across the Microsoft 365 platform.\nImproves governance, security, and compliance posture.\nDevelops proactive monitoring and reporting capabilities.\nResponds effectively to critical incidents and platform escalations.\nContinually enhances the employee collaboration experience while maintaining operational excellence.\nQualifications\nEducation:\nBachelor's Level Degree (Required)The future is what you make it to be.
