Join Fannie Mae to grow your career and help people find a place to call home.\nJob Description\nWe are seeking a skilled Jr. Cloud Automation Engineer with knowledge and exposure to AWS and cloud-native technologies to support onboarding of use cases into the AutoMAEtion Hub and other enterprise platforms built on similar architectures. This role requires an engineer who can quickly integrate into an existing enterprise environment and drive automation, scalability, and operational excellence.\nKey Responsibilities\nOnboard and integrate new use cases into the AutoMAEtion Hub platform and related cloud-based solutions.\nDesign, develop, and maintain automation workflows, scripts, and integrations using Python.\nBuild and optimize solutions by leveraging AWS services, including serverless and workflow orchestration.\nCollaborate with platform, application, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless onboarding and execution.\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues across distributed systems, pipelines, and cloud services.\nContribute to improving platform capabilities, standardization, and reusable patterns.\nKey Skills\nProgramming: Python and Java\nFrontend frameworks : Angular\n AWS: Hands-on with serverless, workflows, and data services (Lambda, Step Functions, S3, ECS etc.)\n Databases: Experience with SQL and NoSQL (RDS, DynamoDB)\nIaC: Terraform or CloudFormation in multi-account environments\nCI/CD: GitLab pipelines and DevOps practices\nQualifications\nAbility to quickly ramp up in a complex enterprise cloud environment\nTroubleshooting skills across distributed systems and pipelines\nEffective collaboration across platform and application teams\nShows curiosity and adaptability in learning and responsibly applying new technologies, including artificial intelligence, to reimagine how we work.\nNice to Have:\nExposure to Restful API integrations\nGenerative AI, Agentic, and\nKnowledge of Azure and GCP\nBachelor degree or equivalent\nTarget Salary: $109,000 to $142,000 a year\nCloud Infrastructure - Software Engineering - Associate\n#LI-Hybrid\nQualifications\nEducation:\nBachelor's Level Degree (Required)The future is what you make it to be.
