Join Fannie Mae to grow your career and help people find a place to call home.\nJob Description\nAs a valued colleague on our team, you will collaborate with team in designing, producing, testing, or implementing moderately complex software, technology, or processes, as well as create and maintain IT architecture, large scale data stores, and cloud-based systems.\nTHE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE\nThis Senior Salesforce Developer role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:\nLead the design, development, and deployment of custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Agentforce and Salesforce APIs.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define and implement efficient, end-to-end business processes.\nApply Salesforce development best practices including code reusability, bulk-safe coding, and reusable component architecture.\nDrive bi-weekly release cycles, ensuring high-quality deliverables and quick turnaround on enhancements and fixes.\nMaintain and optimize existing Salesforce implementations, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.\nMentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews, technical design sessions, and architectural decisions.\nEnsure alignment of Salesforce solutions with enterprise architecture and strategic IT goals.\nLead code reviews, enforce standards, and ensure adherence to security and performance guidelines.\nManage deployment processes using CI/CD tools, version control (e.g., Gitlab), and Salesforce DX.\nStay current with Salesforce releases and proactively recommend enhancements to leverage new platform capabilities.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to performance, data integrity, and system behavior.\nTHE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM\nMinimum Required Experiences: \n2+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience and 2+ years as a senior developer.\nExpertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, Process Builder, and custom metadata types.\nStrong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events).\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments with bi-weekly sprint cycles and CI/CD pipelines.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment, quickly analyze issues, and deliver effective solutions under tight deadlines.\nDesired Experiences: \n\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.\n5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience and 3+ years as a senior developer.\nSalesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect, or System Architect are highly preferred.\nDevelopment experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud\n5+ years of overall IT experience, with proven leadership in enterprise-level projects.\nTarget Pay Range: $123,000.00 - 161,000.00 a year\nInternal Job Title: SF Technology - Software Engineering - Senior Associate\n#LI-JM1 #LI-Hybrid\nQualifications\nEducation:\nBachelor's Level Degree (Required)The future is what you make it to be.
