Join Fannie Mae to grow your career and help people find a place to call home.\nJob Description\nAs a valued colleague on our team, you will design and develop moderately complex solutions for information technology (IT) infrastructure environments, including coding, testing, and certifying technology platforms, software, and applications under limited supervision.\nTHE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE\nThe Senior Windows Server Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure (AWS) role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:\nDevelop moderately complex solutions for application design and IT infrastructure components.\nUnderstand the end-to-end performance of IT platforms.\nDraft and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.\nIndependently monitor advanced performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions.\nTHE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM\nMinimum Required Experiences:\n2 years of hands-on experience managing large-scale Windows Server environments, both in AWS and on-premises.\nShows curiosity and adaptability in learning and responsibly applying new technologies, including artificial intelligence, to reimagine how we work.\n Desired Experiences:\nBachelor degree or equivalent\n3 to 4 years of hands-on experience managing large-scale Windows Server environments, both in AWS and on-premises.\n3+ years hands-on experience working with large-scale Windows environments in on-premises and AWS cloud environments.\nExperience supporting mission-critical platforms in a 24x7 on-call production support model.\nAWS and/or Microsoft Windows certifications preferred.\nExperience creating, maintaining, and hardening secure Windows Server gold images/templates in accordance with enterprise security and compliance standards (CIS, STIG, NIST).\nStrong experience with vulnerability management, including vulnerability remediation, patch management, security compliance, and coordination with cybersecurity teams.\nHands-on experience with Puppet for configuration management, infrastructure automation, system provisioning, and configuration compliance enforcement.\nExtensive experience with Microsoft SCCM/MECM for operating system deployment, software distribution, patch management, inventory management, and endpoint configuration.\nStrong experience managing Active Directory services, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Organizational Units (OUs), DNS, DHCP, and enterprise authentication services.\nDeep Windows engineering expertise, including Windows Server architecture, performance tuning, troubleshooting, system hardening, PowerShell automation, and root-cause analysis of complex infrastructure issues.\nExperience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation frameworks to streamline Windows infrastructure deployment and lifecycle management.\nExperience supporting enterprise-scale Windows platforms in highly available, regulated, and mission-critical environments.\nKnowledge of Windows security technologies, including Active Directory security, Privileged Access Management (PAM), certificate services, endpoint security, and audit/compliance controls.\n Skills\nProficient in system administration for Windows Server, with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems\nSkilled in VMware vSphere and VCF.\nProficient in managing Windows and Linux VMs.\nSkilled in managing CISCO UCS and DELL VxRAIL platforms.\nSkilled in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), PowerShell, Python, and automation technologies.\nExperience administering Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM/MECM, and Windows patch management solutions.\nAbility to work independently on multiple concurrent tasks in a dynamic environment, with strong customer service skills, teamwork abilities, and collaboration within cross-functional teams.\n Tools\nAWS, VMware, DELL VxRAIL, and CISCO UCS.\nPowerShell, Python.\nMicrosoft SCCM/MECM, Active Directory, Group Policy Management Console (GPMC), Puppet, and vulnerability management/compliance tools.\nTarget Pay Range: $123,000.00 - 161,000.00 a year\nInternal Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure - Technology Engineering - Senior Associate\n#LI-JM1 #LI-Hybrid\nQualifications\nEducation:\nBachelor's Level Degree (Required)The future is what you make it to be.
