This position provides lifecycle systems engineering and operational support across Linux and AWS infrastructure while troubleshooting complex system, network, and access-related issues.\nThe ideal candidate will have a strong Linux background, hands-on AWS experience, and the ability to work across development, operations, and customer-facing technical teams.\nResponsibilities\nProvide technical support for Tier II personnel and resolve customer-facing system and access issues\nPerform root cause analysis (RCA), troubleshoot operational issues, and implement mitigation strategies\nMonitor system health, user metrics, performance, and operational availability\nDevelop scripts and playbook-based automation to support recurring operational tasks\nManage and maintain COTS and GOTS software across multiple environments\nPartner with enterprise services teams to maintain security and application compliance\nTroubleshoot network and identity/access issues across complex environments\nAnalyze system workflows and identify performance bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement\nDocument technical findings and communicate issues and resolutions to development and operational teams\nRequired Qualifications\nMust posses an active Top Secret Clearance\n Must be willing and able to obtain a polygraph\nBachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with less than 2 years of relevant experience\nStrong Linux systems administration and infrastructure management experience\nTwo (2) or more years of AWS experience, including services such as EC2 and S3\nExperience troubleshooting network issues across OSI Layers 4-7\nFamiliarity with systems engineering documentation, including network diagrams and data flows\nExperience with Agile collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket\nStrong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills\nCurrent Security+ certification prior to start\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience with identity federation, Single Sign-On (SSO), SAML, OIDC, OAuth, Kerberos, and CAC/smart card authentication\nExperience with Oracle Access Manager, Oracle Unified Directory, Oracle WebLogic, or similar enterprise products\nExperience with Kubernetes\nBash and Python scripting experience\nExperience with LDAP\nExperience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK)\nExperience with AWS and cloud-based architectures\nFamiliarity with cross-domain architectures\nExperience with automated testing and monitoring\nExperience supporting Engineering Review Boards and Change Management
