By combining financial technology, investment structuring, and digital asset infrastructure, Fractual is simplifying how alternative investments are accessed, managed, and distributed.\nAs we scale, we are seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to build the operational foundation of the company and support its next phase of growth.\nThe Role\nAs Fractual’s Business Operations Manager, you will be the operating backbone of a growing investment platform. You will turn the founders’ priorities into plans, build the processes and controls that let us scale, and make sure the platform, our partners, and our investors work together smoothly. Reporting to the founding team, you will work across product, technology, business development, finance, legal, and external partners.\nThis is a hands-on role with broad scope and real ownership. It combines company-building (process, planning, reporting, vendors, team structure) with improving how investors move through the platform, from onboarding and subscription to ongoing servicing. Experience in financial services is valued.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Operations, Processes & Controls\nOversee day-to-day operations and own the company’s operating rhythm: planning cycles, management meetings, and follow-through on decisions. \nDesign and implement scalable processes and workflows across the company, from investor onboarding to internal approvals. \nEmbed operational controls with clear ownership and audit-ready documentation, suited to the requirements of regulated financial activity. \nIdentify inefficiencies and prioritize improvements, including automation, by their impact on speed, cost, and risk. \nMaintain SOPs and internal policies, and keep them current as the company scales. \n2. Cross-Functional Coordination & Project Management\nTranslate the founders' business priorities into clear operational plans. \nLead projects involving multiple departments, external partners, and service providers. \nTrack milestones, deadlines, and deliverables, and keep teams aligned through clear communication. \nAnticipate bottlenecks and resolve them proactively. \nSupport the execution of strategic initiatives and expansion plans. \n3. Partner & Vendor Management\nOwn relationships with the external partners the platform depends on, including legal, accounting, compliance, and identity-verification providers. \nRun vendor selection, onboarding, and renewal, from due diligence through to contract terms. \nDefine service levels and monitor partner quality, cost, and performance against them. \nEmbed partners into internal workflows with clear hand-offs, ownership, and escalation paths. \n4. Business Administration & Financial Coordination\nSupport budgeting, expense monitoring, and operational cost management, and flag overspend early. \nCoordinate with accounting and finance on financial reporting and administrative requirements. \nManage corporate records, procurement, vendor payments, and contract administration. \nMaintain financial approval workflows and expense controls, and identify cost optimization opportunities. \n5. Performance Management & Reporting\nDefine and monitor KPIs across operations and the investor journey, such as onboarding time, conversion, service levels, and cost to serve. \nPrepare regular management updates and operational reports. \nTrack strategic initiatives against agreed objectives and owners, and escalate risks early. \nBuild the reporting processes that give the founders clear visibility and support data-driven decisions. \n6. Organizational Development\nHelp design the organizational structure, roles, and reporting lines as the team grows. \nRun recruitment logistics, new-hire onboarding, and HR administration, working with HR and external providers. \nClarify ownership and decision rights across teams, and set the communication routines that keep them aligned. \nSelect and roll out internal tools and collaboration systems. \n7. Product & Investor Operations\nPartner with product and technology so that business processes are supported by the platform, and raise and prioritize platform gaps. \nMap and improve the investor journey, from onboarding and KYC through subscription and ongoing servicing. \nDefine the operational requirements for new products, features, and offerings before launch. \nTurn feedback from investors, internal teams, and partners into prioritized improvements. \nBuild scalable investor support and servicing workflows. \nExperience with investment platforms, investor onboarding, or financial-services customer journeys is an advantage in this area.\nRequirements\n5+ years of experience in business operations, operations management, project management, business administration, or a similar role. \nTrack record of developing and implementing operational processes in a growing organization. \nStrong project management and organizational skills, with proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and cross-functional initiatives. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities. \nAbility to work independently, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of outcomes. \nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. \nComfort in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. \nProfessional fluency in English. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in a startup, scale-up, fintech, or technology-driven company. \nBackground at an investment firm, asset manager, financial institution, or investment technology platform. \nUnderstanding of the investor journey in financial services, including onboarding, KYC/AML, investment subscriptions, and ongoing servicing. \nFamiliarity with financial-services operations and regulatory environments. \nExperience implementing automation tools, CRM systems, or workflow management platforms. \nExperience supporting international operations or working with cross-border partners. \nFamiliarity with operational reporting, budgeting, and financial administration. \nBenefits\nThe opportunity to join a growing investment technology company at a formative stage. \nDirect collaboration with Fractual's founders and leadership team. \nSignificant ownership of the company's operational processes and infrastructure. \nA voice in business strategy and organizational development. \nExposure to international financial markets, fintech, and alternative investments. \nAn entrepreneurial environment with clear opportunities for professional growth. \nThe potential to grow into a senior operations leadership position as the company expands. \nWho We're Looking For\nYou are organized, proactive, and hands-on, and you take ownership.
