We are a progressive company that leverages technology and expertise to deliver optimal solutions for our suppliers, customers, and partners.\nFAREPORTAL HIGHLIGHTS:\nFareportalis the number 1 privately held online travel company in flight volume.\nFareportalpartners with over 600 airlines, 1 million lodgings, and hundreds of car rental companies worldwide.\n2019 annual sales exceeded $5 billion.\nFareportal sees over 150 million unique visitors annually to our desktop and mobile sites.\nFareportal, with its global workforce of over 2,600 employees, is strategically positioned with 9 offices in 6 countries and headquartered in New York City.\nRole Overview\nWe are seeking a Sr. EMS Analyst who will be responsible for maintaining the health and performance of our IT infrastructure, systems, and applications by proactively monitoring and responding to alerts, resolving issues, and escalating complex problems.\nJob Description and Responsibilities:\nMonitor on 24 x7 basis health of Servers/Network/Applications/Websites/APIs and report alarms utilizing network/systems/Application/Websites monitoring tools.\nHands-on working on enterprise monitoring tools, i.e. MS SCOM/SolarWinds/ AppInsight/Elastic/Grafana/Promethus along with SAAS base monitoring solutions i.e. Rigor/Website pulse/Catchpoint etc.\nShould have clear understanding on public cloud i.e. AWS and Azure, it’s monitoring solution, Datadog/CloudWatch/Appinsight etc.\nIdentify, diagnose, and resolve issues.\nCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation.\nStrong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.\nMonitor performance, capacity, and availability of the IT components on an ongoing basis.\nRecommend improvements in technologies and practices to increase uptime.\nCollect and review performance reports for various systems, and report trends in Network, Server, Application & Websites performance.\nProvide timely response to all incidents, outages and performance alerts. Categorize issues for escalation to appropriate technical teams.\nShould have clear understanding of Incident Management experience and mandatory (P1/P2).\nShould have clear understanding on Change as well Problem Management as well. • Ensure timely follow up with cross-functional teams via e-mails, phone calls and slack.\nWilling to do rotational shifts, 24 x 7.\nRequired Skills & Qualification:\n2+ years’ experience in Enterprise Monitoring Tools, Applications, Server monitoring and troubleshooting or similar role.\nWork experience on Windows Servers, SQL, Network equipment.\nFamiliarity with scripting, network security, firewalls or Linux environment.\nBachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or technical discipline\nPreferred Skills & Qualification:\nWilling to do rotational shifts, 24 x 7.\nStrong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.\nAptitude for learning new technologies, interest in professional development.\nGood Technical Skills in Networks, Firewalls, Servers.\nGood communicator with a natural aptitude for dealing with people.\nShould be a team player.\nQuick learner and able to deal with a wide range of issues.\nGood analytical skills and able to collate and interpret data from various sources.\nAbility to assess and prioritize faults and respond or escalate accordingly.\nDisclaimer\nThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
