Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.\nHandle customer concerns in a professional manner\nCommunicate with customers concerning orders, returns, shipments and products\nCall customers to advise shipments delay and/or information necessary to process orders\nManage and maintain open customer orders and customer profile information\nProcess warranty and return claims as needed\nInitiate sale of existing and new products as well as additional services offered\nShare customer feedback with manager\nMay recommend alternative products based on cost, availability, or specifications\nProvide additional support such as maintaining literature and promotional materials, billing on directs, and ordering displays, possible product procurement responsibilities, etc.\nPlans and paces own work efficiency to meet daily, weekly, customer, or team related productivity goals. Will periodically review and revise the approved goals. Effectively uses customer service to promote greater product penetration and higher service levels\nPartners with our Safety Department and Operations Leadership to promote and ensure a safe work environment and ensure all safety precautions are met\nSupport walk-in customers with product selection and orders\nAttend on and off-premises business-related functions such as company product shows, dealer/contractor meetings, association events, training sessions, mill tours, etc.\nOther duties may be assigned to meet business needs\nPrompt and reliable attendance\nEducation Requirements: Position requires a High School diploma or GED; prefers an associate’s degree in business, sales, or related field, two or more years of experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nQualifications: The individual must be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills as well as proven customer service. Must be detail oriented with strong organizational, negotiating and problem-solving skills. Must be able to work under minimal supervision, manage multiple tasks and interact with others in a professional manner. Individual must be able to have experience in supporting and facilitating the sales process. Must have proficient computer and Microsoft Office skills.
