Responsibilities include maintaining effective vendor relationships, tracking project progress, ensuring timely follow-up, and providing administrative support to help achieve departmental purchasing objectives.\nEssential Functions\nPerform, monitor & manage entry of all new items into our system.\nCreate and test EDI ordering process of vendors within areas of specific departmental responsibilities.\nReview Ads for in stock position & ensure Ad orders are here and to stores on time.\nReview and record Ad results after Ad Event ends.\nFollow-up/ Processing of Invoice discrepancies. \nReview and updating of MSL’s based on Purchasing Agent direction.\nUpdate vendor maintenance information.\nReview outstanding orders and follow up on orders not received past ship / cancellation dates.\nManages calls, email, distribution center and store issues, along with scheduling appointments for Purchasing Agent.\nAd entry in Adserts & KCX systems.\nManages Store Ad/scanning (all clerical) type issues.\nGenerate reports and orders from company computer software on a regular basis.\nProvide new SKU information to our Ecommerce team. \nOrganize and execute routine price checks on key items. \nCreate and/or release purchase orders as directed by the purchasing agent. \nPost critical departmental information on Company Learning Management System.\nAssist at our Farm & Home Supply store locations for product resets and Grand Openings. \nTravel to trade shows will be required 2 twice a year via plane or vehicle.\nLifting capability up to and includes 25lbs.\nConsistent attendance for regularly scheduled shifts is required.\nOther Duties:\nOther duties and responsibilities that may be required to meet the needs of the business.\nMinimum Requirements of Training and Experience\nThe ideal candidate must possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office, as well as excellent organizational abilities. They should be detail-oriented, highly accurate in data entry, and demonstrate solid mathematical and analytical skills, along with strong communication abilities.
