This role oversees maintenance team members, assigns work, supports training and development,monitorsperformance, and ensures maintenance activities are completedin accordance withcompany policies, safety requirements, quality standards, and applicable government regulations.\nThe Maintenance Supervisor playsan important roleinoptimizingequipment uptime, supporting preventative maintenance programs, ensuring proper use of labor and materials,maintainingrefrigeration and wastewater operations, and driving continuous improvement across maintenance processes.\nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate preventative maintenance programs, equipment repair, and facilities repair necessary to support essential operations.\n\nMaintain department performance within established standards for efficient use of human resources, equipment, and materials.\n\nSeek new opportunities for continuous improvement in materials, processes, lean manufacturing, and total quality management.\n\nEnsure routine equipment checks are completed on all PLCs and essential equipment.\n\nCoordinate equipment and labor tooptimizecompletion of projects, routine maintenance, and necessary repairs.\n\nEnsure proper maintenance of refrigeration equipment through assigned staff.\n\nSupport maintenance and completion of the PSM program.\n\nSupervise wastewater treatment operations and work toward the highest standard of wastewater recycling.\n\nEnsure wastewater treatment operations meet the requirements of the discharge permit.\n\nMaintain knowledge of current maintenance and manufacturing technologies and systems.\n\nEnsure compliance with USDA, OSHA, EEO, and other applicable government regulations.\n\nEstablish andmaintainappropriate workingrelationships with other management personnel and USDA representatives.\n\nSupport Process Hazard Analysis and Management of Change processes for system changes.\n\nMentor and motivate maintenance team members by providing training and development to support performance and personal growth.\n\nCommunicate performance standards to team members.\n\nRecognize and reward individual and team accomplishments.\n\nAddress andcounselperformance concerns ina timelyandappropriate manner.\n\nCommunicate standards and ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, GMPs, and HACCP procedures.\n\nTrain team members on safety regulations and practices and enforce safety expectations.\n\nManage staffing and attendance for assigned team members.\n\nFacilitate team meetings, including team member training.\n\nEnsureappropriate documentationis completed,maintained, and filed asrequired.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nCompensation:$100,000- $115,000\nAdditional Compensation: Shift differential available for 2ndand 3rdshift positions\nBenefits: Farmer Focus offers a competitive total rewards package designed to support team members’ health, financial well-being, and professional growth. Available offerings may include weekly payroll,paid time off and sick leave,semi-subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision plan options, a 401(k) plan with company match,HSA and FSA,education reimbursement opportunities, employeeassistanceprograms (EAP), and internal learning, development, and career growth programs.\nAll benefits, programs, and offerings are subject to eligibility requirements, plan terms, and company policies, and may be changed, amended, ordiscontinuedby Farmer Focus at any time.\nQualifications\nAssociate degree in a related field and five to seven years of related supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.\n\nExperience coordinating maintenance operations in a manufacturing, production, processing, or similar environment.\n\nKnowledge of preventative maintenance programs, equipment repair, facilities repair, and maintenance operations.\n\nKnowledge of safety requirements, quality standards, GMPs, HACCP procedures, and applicable regulatory expectations.\n\nAbility to supervise, mentor, train, and motivate maintenance team members.\n\nAbility to communicate performance standards and address performance concerns appropriately.\n\nExcellent organizational and interpersonal skills.\n\nExceptional oral and written communication skills.\n\nGood judgment and strong problem-resolution skills.\n\nAbility to successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\n\nAbility toestablishand maintain effective working relationships with management, team members, regulatory representatives, and cross-functional partners.\n\nAbility to perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior experience in food processing, poultry processing, manufacturing, or production maintenance.\n\nExperience with refrigeration systems, wastewater treatment operations, or PSM programs.\n\nExperience with lean manufacturing, total quality management, or continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nKnowledge of PLCs and essential production equipment.\n\nPrior experience managing staffing, attendance, training documentation, and team performance.\n\nNew team members must be able to pass a drug,alcoholand background screening post-offer and prior to the start of their employment. The Immigration Reform and Control Act requires that verification of employment eligibility be documented for all new employees by the end of their third day of work.\nWork Environment, Physical Demands, and Travel\nWork is conducted primarily in an office and manufacturing/production environment at Farmer Focus facilities. Occasional travel between facilities may berequiredfor meetings, collaboration, and team coverage. This role may require access to the production environment and maintenanceareas. Theteam member must be ableto toleratevarying heat, wet, and chill conditions within the plant.Hearing and eye-protective equipment are required in the production area.Hair and beard nets arerequiredin the production area.Additionalpersonal protective equipment may berequiredbased on task, location, and safety requirements.
