This role supports Farmer Focus by strictly adhering to company standards and procedures, customer specifications, quality standards, GMP requirements, and the department HACCP Plan. The Supervisor assigns, trains, mentors, and monitors team members in accordance with company policies and government regulations while helping drive continuous improvement, strong production performance, and a positive team culture.\nKey Responsibilities\nOversee daily production line operations to support safe, efficient, and well-organized production. \nCoordinate line work to meet production orders in collaboration with team members, leads, and other departments. \nMaintain quality standards for products and ensure customer specifications are met. \nMaintain department performance within established standards for efficient use of human resources, equipment, and materials. \nMaintain and report production-related information regarding yields, efficiencies, labor utilization, and other key performance measures to the Superintendent. \nSeek new opportunities for continuous improvement in materials, processes, lean manufacturing, and total quality management. \nEnsure production processes and products adhere to GMP standards, customer specifications, and the company’s HACCP Plan. \nEnsure HACCP recordkeeping and related documentation are completed and maintained accurately. \nEnsure equipment and work areas are appropriately maintained and operating continuously and efficiently by working with maintenance staff, outside vendors, the Maintenance Manager, and the Plant Manager as needed. \nEstablish and maintain appropriate working relationships with other management personnel and USDA representatives. \nEstablish norms and standards for department performance. \nStay current with developments in management practices, process optimization, and operational improvement. \nMentor and motivate approximately 40 team members by providing training and development to support performance and personal growth. \nCommunicate performance standards to team members. \nRecognize and reward individual and team accomplishments. \nCounsel and address performance concerns appropriately and in a timely manner. \nCommunicate standards and ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, GMPs, and HACCP procedures. \nTrain team members on safety regulations and practices and enforce safety expectations. \nManage staffing, line coverage, and attendance. \nFacilitate team meetings, including team member training. \nEnsure appropriate documentation is completed, maintained, and filed as required. \nPromote a positive work environment that supports safety, quality, productivity, accountability, and team engagement. \nPerform other duties as assigned. \nCompensation: $65,000 - $80,000\nAdditional Compensation: KPI-Based Incentive Program\nBenefits: Farmer Focus offers a competitive total rewards package designed to support team members’ health, financial well-being, and professional growth. The Immigration Reform and Control Act requires that verification of employment eligibility be documented for all new employees by the end of their third day of work.\nWork Environment, Physical Demands, and Travel\nWork is conducted primarily in a manufacturing and poultry production environment. This role requires access to production areas, production lines, team member work areas, and other operational spaces throughout the plant. The team member must be able to tolerate varying heat, wet, and chill conditions within the plant. Hearing and eye protective equipment are required in the production area. Hair and beard nets are required in the production area. Additional personal protective equipment may be required based on task, location, and safety requirements. This position may require standing for long periods, walking, bending, reaching, working near production equipment, accessing production lines, and supporting team members throughout the department.
