This role focuses on rebuilding, repairing, improving, andmaintainingequipment that is critical to safe and effective plant operations.\nThe Rebuild Technician playsan important rolein improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, lowering parts and external labor costs, and supporting operational excellence. This position is expected toidentifyand implement practical improvements, support root cause analysis,trainand coach maintenance team members, and deliver solutions that provide strong value, quality, and measurable impact on key performance indicators.\nKey Responsibilities\nExecutethe siterebuildprogram and support improvements to rebuild strategies.\n\nPerform routine inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of machinery.\n\nDismantle, repair, and rebuild equipment that is critical to safe and effective factory operations.\n\nIdentifyand implement improvement strategies for parts, materials, and equipment modifications.\n\nRecommend improvements to materialsofconstruction, equipment design, or rebuild methods to improve equipment life, reduce cost, and increase value.\n\nParticipate in root cause analysis processes to develop creative and proven solutions that reduce or eliminate downtime.\n\nTrain mechanics on routine preventive maintenance programs.\n\nMeasure andreportmechanic competency, cooperation, and program execution to theappropriate managementteam.\n\nProvide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to maintenance teams to help ensure team members have the skills and knowledge needed to execute their roles effectively.\n\nSupport key performance indicators, including downtime reduction, reduced parts cost, and reduced external labor cost.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Maintenance, Reliability, Production, Quality, and other leaders, to support organizational goals.\n\nSupport quality, yield, safety, reliability, and operational performance goals.\n\nManage assigned budgets and resources effectively to support operational excellence initiatives.\n\nAllocate financial and material resources responsibly and within budget expectations.\n\nUse mechanical, electrical, and fabrication skills to support equipment rebuilds and improvements.\n\nCommunicate operational risks, rebuild needs, andimprovementopportunitiestomanagement.\n\nPerform all work with a strong focus on safety and compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nCompensation: $100,000-$115,000 annual salary\nBenefits: Farmer Focus offers a competitive total rewards package designed to support team members’ health, financial well-being, and professional growth. Available offerings may include weekly payroll,paid time off and sick leave,semi-subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision plan options, a 401(k) plan with company match,HSA and FSA,education reimbursement opportunities, employeeassistanceprograms (EAP), and internal learning, development, and career growth programs.\nAll benefits, programs, and offerings are subject to eligibility requirements, plan terms, and company policies, and may be changed, amended, ordiscontinuedby Farmer Focus at any time.\nQualifications\nMinimum of 5 years of total related experience.\n\nExperience rebuilding,maintaining, repairing, or improving mechanical equipment.\n\nAbility to understand schematics, prints, instructions, and P&IDs.\n\nBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and CMMS systems.\n\nMechanical, electrical, and fabrication skills.\n\nStrong coaching and communication skills.\n\nAbility to coach and develop mechanics.\n\nAbility to communicate operational risks, equipment concerns, and improvement opportunities to management.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility toidentifyroot causes of problems, develop effective solutions, and measure the impact of changes.\n\nAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams and leaders to support organizational goals.\n\nAbility to work extended hours on the plant floor.\n\nAbility to perform regular lifting, bending, and stretching for up to the entire shift.\n\nAbility to work primarily during non-production hours, including significant weekend work as business needs require.\n\nAbility to perform all work with a focus on safety and follow OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.\n\nAbility to perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExtensive experience with poultry equipment.\n\nProventrack recordof successfully rebuilding,maintaining, and improving production or mechanical equipment.\n\nSpecific knowledge of equipment used in the production facility.\n\n10 or more years of experience working on poultry equipment.\n\nAdvanced mechanical and electrical skills, including controls and PLCs.\n\nExperience supporting root cause analysis, reliability programs, preventive maintenance programs, or continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nExperience managing budgets, resources, parts costs, external labor costs, or rebuild-related projects.\n\nNew team members must be able to pass a drug,alcoholand background screening post-offer and prior to the start of their employment. The Immigration Reform and Control Act requires that verification of employment eligibility be documented for all new employees by the end of their third day of work.\nWork Environment, Physical Demands, and Travel\nWork is conducted primarily in a manufacturing and production environment across Farmer Focus facilities.This role requires access to maintenance areas, production areas, equipment rooms, and other plant areas as needed.The team member must be able to tolerate varying heat, wet, and chill conditions within the plant. GMP and safety personal protective equipment arerequiredwhile inside the plant. This role may require extended hours on the plant floor, regular lifting, bending, stretching, standing, walking, climbing, reaching, and working around production equipment, maintenance equipment, tools, and machinery. This position works primarily during non-production hours and may require significant weekend work based on rebuild schedules, production needs, and business priorities.
