We are looking for someone who is motivated, personable, and ready to build a long-term career in insurance. Previous insurance experience is welcome, but it is not required. Candidates with backgrounds in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, banking, automotive, or other customer-facing roles are encouraged to apply.

You’ll receive training, mentorship, and the resources needed to develop your insurance knowledge while building relationships and helping grow the agency.

What You'll Be Doing

• Connect with prospective customers through agency-provided leads, referrals, outbound calls, networking, and community outreach

• Ask questions to understand each customer's needs and identify opportunities for coverage

• Provide quotes and recommend Auto, Home, Life, Business, and other Farmers insurance products

• Follow up consistently with leads and manage your sales pipeline from initial contact through closing

• Build long-term relationships with customers and generate referrals

• Identify cross-selling opportunities within existing customer households

• Work toward individual and agency production goals

• Participate in ongoing sales coaching, training, and professional development

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Comfortable talking with new people both over the phone and in person

• Motivated by goals and comfortable working in a sales-focused environment

• Persistent and able to move forward after hearing “no”

• Self-motivated, dependable, and organized

• Coachable with a willingness to learn and improve

• Previous sales, insurance, or customer-facing experience is a plus, but not required

• Michigan Property & Casualty and Life & Health licensing preferred, or willingness to obtain the required licenses

• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
