In this role, you will gain valuable knowledge into the work of a local Engineering Consulting Design firm while performing tasks to assist our Engineers and Technicians.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nDevelop and maintain electrical engineering drawings and construction documents using CAD software.\nAssist with Building Information Modeling (BIM) development and coordination across multidisciplinary project teams.\nSupport project setup activities, including document organization, standards implementation, and quality control processes.\nPerform engineering code research and analysis related to the NEC, IBC, IECC, and other applicable industry standards.\nAssist in the preparation of client deliverables, including plans, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.\nParticipate in project coordination meetings with engineers, architects, clients, and other design professionals.\nConduct field investigations and site visits to document existing conditions and collect data to support design efforts.\nCompile engineering reports, technical studies, and project documentation for internal and client use.\nPerform utility research and coordination to support project planning, service requirements, and infrastructure assessments.\nAssist engineering staff with electrical system layouts, equipment selection, and design development activities.\nUtilize industry-leading design tools and software to gain hands-on experience with real-world engineering projects.\nCollaborate with experienced engineers and designers while gaining exposure to a variety of commercial, industrial, healthcare, educational, and mission-critical projects.\nWhat You'll Need:\nCurrently pursuing degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering\nKnowledge of circuits, Ohm’s Law, basic electrical engineering principles\nKnowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit, preferred\nComputer competencies include proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook\nGood grammatical, spelling, and proofreading skills\nGood communication skills in dealing with clients and co-workers\nOrganized and professional\nValid driver’s license\n*Housing, relocation, and transportation assistance not available for this position.\nCompensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.\nColorado Pay Transparency\n$22—$22 USD\nWho We Are:\nJoin Farnsworth Group, a nationally recognized architectural engineering and surveying firm where your career can thrive!
