In this role, you will support electrical systems required for the installation of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This role ensures that all electrical infrastructure, power distribution, and control systems meet tool specifications, facility requirements, and industry safety standards\n\n What You’ll Do:\nDesign and develop electrical layouts for semiconductor tool installations, including power distribution and control wiring.\nPrepare and review electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and panel layouts.\nDefine and verify electrical requirements for semiconductor tools (voltage, load, grounding, and power quality).\nCoordinate with facilities, construction teams, and equipment vendors to ensure proper installation and integration.\nSupport tool hook-up, energization, commissioning, and startup activities.\nEnsure compliance with electrical codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, SEMI standards).\nConduct design reviews, safety assessments, and risk mitigation (e.g., arc flash, grounding).\nTroubleshoot electrical issues during installation and startup phases.\nReview vendor documentation and ensure alignment with site requirements.\nMaintain accurate as-built drawings and documentation.\nWhat You’ll Need:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.\n3-8+ years of experience in electrical design, industrial systems, or semiconductor environments.\nKnowledge of low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems.\nExperience with electrical CAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar).\nUnderstanding of grounding, bonding, and power quality requirements.\nFamiliarity with cleanroom environments and installation constraints.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.\nNice To Haves: \nExperience with semiconductor tool installation or facility design.\nKnowledge of SEMI standards (e.g., S2 safety guidelines).\nExperience with PLC systems, control panels, and industrial automation.\nFamiliarity with backup power systems (UPS, generators).\nExposure to project engineering or construction coordination.\nWho We Are:\nJoin Farnsworth Group, a nationally recognized architectural engineering and surveying firm where your career can thrive!
