In this role, qualified candidates will work with our Energy and Utilities division conducting field assessments and assisting with environmental permitting and compliance.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nProvide environmental support for various energy and utilities projects.\nPerform inspections on construction sites for erosion and sediment control.\nProvide field support to delineate and map wetlands, perform environmental compliance inspections, describe habitat, and report environmental conditions to design engineers\nResearch and assist with environmental permitting at the federal, state, and local levels\nAssist with the composition of a variety of regulatory documents including Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), and Best Management Practice (BMP) Plans\nWhat You’ll Need:\nCompleted Junior Year of Undergraduate Program in a related field\nGreat attitude, willingness to learn, and a team player\nAbility to effectively manage time while working on several projects concurrently\nNice to Haves:\nPursuing Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field.\nExperience conducting environmental surveys using GPS\nExperience with ArcGIS\nExperience with Microsoft Office Suite\nStrong oral and written communication skills\n*Housing, relocation, and transportation assistance not available for this position.\nCompensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.\nIllinois Pay Transparency\n$22—$22 USD\nWho We Are:\nJoin Farnsworth Group, a nationally recognized architectural engineering and surveying firm where your career can thrive!
