Qualified candidates will support our Energy & Utility Group as part of the Telecommunications Team by providing project coordination, financial tracking, resource management, client system administration, and operational support for a variety of telecommunications engineering and construction projects.\nWhat You'll Do:\nMaintain project tracking tools and databases to ensure accurate project status, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.\nCoordinate with Project Managers to update project financial information, including project spend, estimated invoicing, forecasts, budgets, and Estimate at Complete (EAC) reporting.\nInput, track, and monitor change orders, purchase orders, invoices, and project documentation within client and internal systems.\nVerify project schedules and due dates between client systems and internal trackers, making updates as needed to maintain alignment.\nEstablish, manage, and maintain employee access to client programs, databases, and project management systems.\nSupport resource planning efforts by managing employee, vehicle, and equipment assignments within resource management and project scheduling software.\nAssist with project setup, reporting, document control, and project closeout activities.\nPrepare and distribute project status reports, dashboards, and other project support documentation.\nCoordinate with project teams to ensure timely completion of project tasks and deliverables.\nProvide administrative and operational support to Project Managers and Telecommunications leadership.\nWhat You'll Need:\nMinimum of 2 years of project coordination, project administration, operations, or related experience.\nStrong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.\nExceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nExperience working with project schedules, budgets, invoices, financial reporting, or resource planning.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating with geographically dispersed project teams.\nNice To Haves:\nExperience supporting telecommunications, utility, engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects.\nFamiliarity with project management, resource management, or scheduling software.\nExperience working within client systems for project tracking, invoicing, or reporting.\nKnowledge of project financial metrics, forecasting, and EAC reporting.\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field.\nExperience with Power BI, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar project reporting tools.\nCompensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.\nIllinois Pay Transparency\n$60,000—$85,000 USD\nWho We Are:\nJoin Farnsworth Group, a nationally recognized architectural engineering and surveying firm where your career can thrive!
