In this role, you will be working with clients in the oil and natural gas industry on a wide variety of projects involving refined petroleum products, crude oil and natural gas pipelines and related facilities. Candidates will experience a fast-paced, high demand work environment, managing multiple projects for a variety of clients and coordinating efforts with multiple disciplines and support resources. \nWhat You’ll Do:\nProvide technical leadership and project management on various sizes of projects that could span both gas and liquid clients. Projects will involve both mainline pipe and facilities\nAbility to lead multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate efforts with support groups ensuring a quality on-time product for our client, and a financially successful project\nProvide technical support as part of an engineering team on large/complex projects as needed\nProject development - provide technical support for the development of projects (conceptual through final design)\nLead and/or support proposal efforts being able to work with multiple disciplines and subcontractors for developing scope and competitive pricing\nExpand on relationships and workload with current clients and support efforts as needed for pursuit of new clients\nWhat You’ll Need:\nBS in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Petroleum Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum\n5-15 years of experience in an engineering technical role in the oil, natural gas, or similar industry\nMinimum of 3 years performing project work as a project manager with firm understanding and experience in applying project management tools and best practices\nHighly motivated self-starter\nGeneral understanding of and able to interpret and apply DOT, API, ANSI, ASME and owner regulations, codes and standards\nComputer proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project\nMust be willing to travel and have a valid driver’s license\nNice To Haves: \nLicensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) a plus\nProfessional Project Manager (PMP) a plus\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to positively influence others and develop strong internal and external relationships\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage a wide variety of issues on multiple projects\nStrong team skills complemented with a strong work ethic\nSupervisory experience a plus\nCompensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.\nIllinois Pay Transparency\n$90,000—$160,000 USD\nCompensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.\nColorado Pay Transparency\n$90,000—$160,000 USD\nWho We Are:\nJoin Farnsworth Group, a nationally recognized architectural engineering and surveying firm where your career can thrive!
