This is an exciting opportunity for a Transportation Project Manager who is looking to hone their project and client management skills while providing and making a direct impact on an already established, growing organization!\nWhat You’ll Do:\nServes as project manager and/or project engineer with autonomy for project-related tasks and as a designated client contact. May have project management responsibilities on multiple projects, depending on assignment.\nResponsible for project schedules and the timely completion of projects.\nAssists in the coordination of estimating, scoping, and marketing strategies for proposed projects.\nAssists in the preparation of engineering agreements for projects.\nProvides street and highway design engineering analysis and computations and will be the Engineer of Record on some projects.\nPrepares or modifies reports, specifications, plans, studies, permits, and designs for various projects.\nMay delegate and/or supervise the work of other engineers’ activities.\nActively participates in supporting business development efforts, attends client and organizational meetings, and makes presentations in support of the client and projects.\nVisits construction sites to monitor progress and perform other duties per contract documents\nWhat You’ll Need:\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited Civil, Transportation, or Traffic Engineer program\n8-20 years of transportation or traffic engineering experience\nExperience working on and with DOT, county, and/or local agency projects/clients is preferred\nLicensed Professional Engineer, PE\nAbility to manage and collaborate with Engineers, Technicians, Clients, and Administrators\nAbility to contribute to several projects simultaneously\nWorking experience with Microsoft Office, MicroStation, CONNECT, and ORD preferred\nCompensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.\nIllinois Pay Transparency\n$110,000—$150,000 USD\nWho We Are:\nJoin Farnsworth Group, a nationally recognized architectural engineering and surveying firm where your career can thrive!
