In this role, qualified candidates will have an opportunity to work with a team of experienced Structural Engineers on a variety of bridge and structure related projects.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nPerform structural analysis of bridge and infrastructure project elements\nDevelop load calculations and structural design computations for project components\nPrepare organized, detailed structural calculations and technical documentation\nDesign and draft structural elements, details, and connection designs\nDevelop plans and specifications using MicroStation software\nWork under the guidance of Project Managers and Project Engineers\nParticipate in coordination meetings with multidisciplinary project teams\nAssist with field inspection and condition assessment of bridges and other structures.\nWhat You’ll Need:\nPursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited Civil Engineering program, with a concentration in structural engineering.\nComputer proficiency with Word and Excel\nMicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience preferred\nUnderstanding of structural engineering principles, building codes, and design standards\nValid Driver’s License\n\n*Housing, relocation, and transportation assistance are not available for this position.\nCompensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.\nIllinois Pay Transparency\n$22—$22 USD\nWho We Are:\nJoin Farnsworth Group, a nationally recognized architectural engineering and surveying firm where your career can thrive!
