In this role, you will lead and manage a variety of impactful water resources projects, including stormwater management, natural channel design, floodplain studies, and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling. You'll have the opportunity to work directly with clients and regulatory agencies, drive project success from concept through completion, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to business development efforts. This position offers the chance to help shape resilient infrastructure solutions while collaborating with a talented, multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving communities.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nManage several projects simultaneously within the water resources discipline from inception to completion.\nDesign a variety of water resources engineering projects, including natural channel design, green infrastructure, detention projects, culvert design, and IDOT highway storm sewer systems.\nPerform hydrology and hydraulic modeling and analysis\nConduct floodplain and drainage studies\nPrepare reports on engineering analyses and model results\nCoordinate with local, state, and federal agencies to determine stormwater requirements and facilitate permit approvals\nPursue new opportunities through business development efforts\nLead and mentor junior staff on engineering projects.\nMaintain and enhance relationships with clients. \nWhat You’ll Need:\nBS in Civil, Agricultural, or Environmental Engineering\n10 or more years experience in engineering field\nProfessional Engineering License \nNice To Haves: (optional; not all jobs will have this separate list)\nExperience with H&H modeling software required.
