Work will include planning studies, hydraulic modeling, design, permitting, funding assistance, and construction of water and wastewater projects.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nManage and design a variety of water and wastewater projects from planning through design, permitting, and construction\nDesign water transmission and distribution systems\nWork directly with clients and a multi-disciplinary design team to manage projects\nAssist with business development activities and preparation of proposals\nPlanning studies and reports for the evaluation of project alternatives and condition assessments\nModeling for water and sanitary sewer systems\nBooster pump station and lift station design\nInvolvement with regulatory strategies and negotiations with permitting \nWhat You’ll Need:\nBS in Civil or Environmental Engineering; Master’s degree preferred\n8-15 years of Water/Wastewater Process Engineering experience\nProfessional Engineer - PE License\nPassion for water and wastewater engineering\nStrong project management, communication, and organizational skills\nUnderstanding of chemistry and biology for treatment processes\nTeam player who can manage and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously\nExperience with water and/or wastewater modeling software such as WaterCAD, InfoWater, EPANET, GPSx preferred\nCompensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.\nIllinois Pay Transparency\n$91,000—$149,000 USD\nWho We Are:\nJoin Farnsworth Group, a nationally recognized architectural engineering and surveying firm where your career can thrive!
