Thus, we are building the firm around exceptional talent.\nThe role\nFasanara Digital is hiring a Trading Systems Developer to join the Front Office Technology team and help build the trading infrastructure that sits closest to the market. You will work alongside traders, quants and fellow engineers to design, build and run systems that are fast, reliable and easy to extend.\nThis is a hands-on engineering role. You will own components end to end, from design through deployment and production support, in an environment where correctness and performance both matter.\nKey responsibilities\nDesign, develop and maintain front office trading systems, including market data handling, order management and execution components\nWrite high-quality, well-tested production code with a strong focus on performance, latency and stability\nBuild and maintain connectivity to trading venues and market data sources\nDevelop tooling for analytics, monitoring, reporting and research in Python and SQL\nWork with traders and quants to turn trading requirements into robust, maintainable systems\nCapture, store and query market and trading data, including time-series datasets\nContribute to code reviews, technical design discussions and engineering standards\nSupport production systems, diagnose issues quickly and drive root-cause fixes\nRequirements\nRequired skills and experience\nCommercial experience building software in at least one of C++, Java or Rust\nProficiency in Python for tooling, analysis and automation\nSolid SQL skills, including query design and working with large datasets\nExperience developing in Linux environments, with sound grasp of concurrency and data structures\nUnderstanding of the trading lifecycle and electronic trading systems, gained in a bank, hedge fund, proprietary trading firm or similar\nStrong debugging and problem-solving skills, with the discipline to test and measure before optimising\nClear communicator who works well with both technical and trading colleagues\nDesirable\nExperience with time-series databases such as kdb+/q, ClickHouse, TimescaleDB or InfluxDB\nExperience with low-latency or high-throughput systems\nFamiliarity with exchange
