Thus, we are building the firm around exceptional talent.\nThe Role\nThe Risk Analytics Associate works on the development and delivery of portfolio risk analytics across Fasanara's Asset-Backed Finance (ABF) strategies. This role sits at the intersection of Risk, Investment, and Technology, translating complex portfolio data into actionable insights to support investment decisions, portfolio construction, and risk monitoring.\nThe position combines strong technical expertise in data analytics and modelling with a commercial mindset, supporting multiple stakeholders including Portfolio Management, Capital Markets, and Investor Relations. The role involves writing a lot of code for the analytics platform, and ensuring high standards of code and data quality, as well as scalability.\nResponsibilities\nContribute to the development of portfolio risk analytics across ABF strategies, including: concentration, exposure, performance tracking, stress testing, outlier investigations, monitoring tools, and reporting outputs.\nEnsure full documentation and reproducibility of models and analytics.\nWork closely with Tech and Data Engineering teams to improve data quality and reconciliation.\nAction reports for regulatory, audit, and governance processes.\nRequirements\nRequirements\nEssential\nInterest in data analytics within private credit, asset-backed finance, securitisation, or related fields.\nBasics of ABF / securitisation fundamentals\nIntermediate Python, (especially Pandas) skills for data analysis, motivation to write production-ready code.\nBasics of git, CI/CD and collaborative development environments\nIntermediate SQL skills\nAbility to analyse concentration, exposure dynamics, and performance trends across portfolios.\nAbility to translate business and risk requirements into analytical outputs.\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to present insights to technical and non-technical audiences in a structured and actionable way.\nDesirable\nUnderstanding of portfolio risk concepts\nExposure to securitisation transactions.\nFamiliarity with scenario analysis and stress testing frameworks.\nUnderstanding of data engineering concepts (data pipelines, ingestion, transformation).\nExperience working with multiple datasets from different sources, including data integration, standardisation and reconciliation.\nUnderstanding of cloud-based
