The company was established in 2006 in Japan, and today has\naround 470 locations mainly in Japan, with a select number of stores throughout Asia.\nPosition Overview:\nAs a Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for handling customer service inquiries and resolving escalations in a professional and courteous manner, while upholding the GU service philosophy.\nJob Responsibilities:\nInteract with customers over the voice and written channels\n\nRespond to queries related to products, services, processed and policies\n\nHandle and resolve complaints in accord with established policies and procedures\n\nRespond to escalated issues in a courteous and professional manner consistent with our customer service philosophy.\n\nAssist customers with placing orders and navigating our ecommerce site\n\nTroubleshoot online and checkout issues and report technical concerns to respective internal departments for resolution\n\nLiaise with distribution centers to research disruption to order fulfillment or return process\n\nLiaise with retail stores to resolve customer concerns related to store experience\n\nAny additional duties that are necessary due to the evolving needs of the business\n\nOther related duties to be assigned by direct supervisor\n\nQualifications:\n1-3 years of customer service experience, call center environment preferred\n\nKnowledge of retail or ecommerce preferred\n\nExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and foster strong cross-functional relationships, internally and externally\n\nExcellent communication skills\n\nPleasant telephone manners and calm disposition\n\nAnalytical, problem solving, and probing mindset to identify root cause and improvement opportunities\n\nFamiliarity with case management systems a plus\n\nMinimum typing of 35-40WPM\n\nGeneral knowledge of Microsoft Office products\n\nAbility to quickly learn new software and use multiple systems & platforms\n\nAbility to adapt to changing demands of the work environment\n\nPositive attitude and open to constructive criticism and continuous improvement in performance job functions\n\nExcellent listening, written and oral communication skills\n\nRegular, dependable attendance and punctuality\n\nHourly Salary: $17.50 -
