This position is for our branch located at Antwerpsesteenweg 275, Mechelen.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nThe duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:\nDeveloping and executing a sales plan in a local territory to reach and exceed business goals \nDemonstrating excellence in business to business selling on a daily basis \nEffectively communicating business statistics and progress toward goals to motivate the performance of others \nModeling and promoting career opportunities to personnel \nDeveloping and training others to achieve optimal business results as well as personal goals \nPerforming other duties as needed to ensure branch success\nREQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS\nThe following skills and qualifications are required for this position:\nPossess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed \nPossess at least one year of Fastenal or related sales experience \nPossess a degree in Business/Marketing OR have equivalent industry experience and knowledge of the local market \nExcellent written and oral communication skills \nProficient computer skills \nHighly motivated and self directed with the ability to motivate others \nDemonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities \nDemonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency \nExhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills \nLearn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment \nDemonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork\nAbility to lift, slide, carry and lower packages on a regular basis\nPREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS\nPrior managerial experience and product knowledge\nTRAINING & DEVELOPMENT\nOur mission within Fastenal's School of Business is to collaboratively maximize the potential of each employee by consistently providing efficient, effective, and engaging learning opportunities to drive improved work performance.
