Sales Associate (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position will present opportunities to learn something new every day. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting

  customers with inquiries and day-to-day service needs

• Processing,

  monitoring and coordinating customer orders

• Ensuring

  timely order fulfilment and delivery follow-up

• Assisting

  with sales activities and customer service support

• Preparing

  weekly and monthly reports and administrative documentation

• Working

  closely with branch colleagues to provide an outstanding customer experience

• Supporting

  daily branch operations and continuous improvement initiatives

• Maintaining

  accurate records and completing assigned tasks in a timely manner

A typical day may include communicating with customers, following up on orders and deliveries, preparing reports, collaborating with colleagues to solve customer challenges, and learning about Fastenal products, customers and business processes.

Requirements

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

• Intermediate English

  communication skills, both written and verbal

• Intermediate

  computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

• Valid Category B

  driving licence

• Strong

  organizational skills and attention to detail

• Customer-focused

  mindset and excellent communication skills

• Ability to work

  independently as well as part of a team

• Strong

  problem-solving and prioritization skills

• Interest in sales,

  customer service and business operations

• Motivation to learn,

  develop and take on new challenges

• Ability to

Nice to have

• Previous experience

  in customer service, sales support, administration or a similar role

• Experience working

  with Microsoft Office applications

• Confidence

  communicating with customers and handling multiple priorities
