This is an entry level position that will provide assistance to our customers from our branch located at Antwerpsesteenweg 275, Mechelen.\nThe Full-Time Sales Support (m/w/d) is a key role in Fastenal's sales team, providing administrative and operational support to the branch and its customers. The Sales Support (m/w/d) role is responsible for handling orders, inventory, deliveries, returns, and customer service inquiries, as well as assisting the sales staff with sales and marketing activities. This role works closely with the branch manager, the sales representatives, and the warehouse personnel to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow and a high level of customer satisfaction.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nAssist & drive sales in industrial distribution to achieve sales goals and targets.\nDevelop strong relationship and networking to existing/prospective customers.\nPlan visits to customers to provide a high level of customer service\nAssist the sales staff with sales and marketing activities, such as generating leads, preparing proposals, conducting presentations, and participating in trade shows and events.\nProvide customer service and support, answer phone calls and emails, and respond to customer inquiries and requests.\nProcess customer orders and quotes, verify pricing and availability, and follow up on order status and delivery confirmation.\nMaintain inventory accuracy and availability, perform cycle counts, replenish stock, and report any discrepancies or issues.\nCoordinate deliveries and pickups, load and unload trucks, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.\nHandle customer returns, exchanges, and warranty claims, process credit memos and invoices, and resolve any customer complaints or issues.\nPerform general administrative and clerical tasks, such as filing, copying, scanning, and data entry.\nComply with all company policies and procedures, as well as safety and quality standards.\nREQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:\nThe following skills and qualifications are required for this position:\nA strong aptitude for Sales and a desire to sell\nA valid driver's license and the ability to meet our driving record requirements\nDemonstrate our core values of Ambition, Innovation, Integrity and Teamwork\nThe ability to lift, slide, carry and lower packages on a regular basis\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nPrevious experience in sales, customer service, or warehouse operations preferred.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.\nStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nThe ability to speak fluent English and Dutch\nABOUT US:\nSince 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a branch to approximately 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
