It has more than 700 employees spread across global locations in the UK, US, China, India, Singapore, Brazil, Belgium, Bulgaria, Finland and beyond.\n The Role\nThe Marketing Assistant provides campaign execution and operational support to a Marketing Manager across the Fastmarkets Events portfolio. The role supports the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns designed to grow audience reach, engagement and delegate bookings.\nWorking closely with the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Assistant coordinates day-to-day campaign activity across channels, supports marketing communications and content delivery, maintains accurate campaign and audience data, and tracks performance against agreed objectives. Using campaign results and audience insights, the role helps identify opportunities to improve targeting, engagement and conversion.\nPrincipal Accountabilities\nCampaign execution\nExecute community marketing campaigns - across delegate, speaker and exhibitor/sponsor groups - to improve reach and grow delegate bookings.\nExecute email marketing campaigns for the assigned Fastmarkets events.\nConduct media partner outreach and fulfil agreed partnership commitments, ensuring activity is delivered effectively to support delegate acquisition.\nUpdate and optimise event websites with fresh, relevant content that strengthens event positioning and encourages delegate bookings.\nSupport the delivery of promotional activity across social media, PR and other relevant channels, including creating and scheduling content.\nOperational support\nMaintain and update competitor research.\nCoordinate audience research and data updates, supporting data sourcing where required.\nMaintain event campaign reporting, including quick access to registration and email performance reports.\nProduce ad hoc data and campaign reports to support the Marketing Manager’s analysis.\nKEY INTERFACES\nMarketing Manager, Events (line manager)\nEvent marketing team\nExternal suppliers (Gleanin; Datamatics)\nDelegate and SPEX sales teams\nCustomer services team\nMedia partners\nQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:\nExperience: 1 - 2 years’ work experience in an office environment (including virtual) would be preferable but this role could suit a bright, self-motivated person who is looking for their first step on the career ladder\nEducation: Educated to degree level, preferably in marketing, business or languages.\n We recruit talented, dynamic people with diverse backgrounds and experiences, all united by a belief in our mission to provide the world’s leading and most trusted price reporting, events, and intelligence service for the markets we serve.
