As our first senior UX hire, you'll lead the design of intuitive, elegant workflows that simplify complex technical tasks, enhance user satisfaction, and drive product adoption.\nYou'll play a pivotal role in defining Fastn's UX strategy and design system crafting onboarding journeys, feature discovery flows, and everyday interactions that make integration management feel seamless and empowering. Your work will directly impact our core metrics, including user activation, engagement, and retention.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn the UX design process across Fastn's platform from initial concept to user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI designs\n\nDesign and optimize critical user journeys including onboarding, activation, and feature adoption experiences\n\nTranslate complex product requirements into clean, intuitive interfaces and interactions\n\nBuild and test prototypes at various fidelity levels to communicate design concepts and gather feedback\n\nConduct user research, usability testing, and customer interviews to validate design decisions\n\nCreate and maintain our design system, ensuring consistency across the platform\n\nCollaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and leadership to align designs with business goals\n\nChampion user-centric design thinking across the company and help establish UX best practices\n\nSkills & QualificationsMust-Haves:\n10+ years of professional UX design experience, with a focus on SaaS or complex web applications\n\nEarly stage startup experience in B2B space\n\nStrong portfolio showcasing user flows, prototypes, and finalized designs that solved real user problems\n\nExpertise with Figma and modern design/prototyping tools\n\nProven ability to balance product goals, technical constraints, and user needs\n\nExperience conducting user research and applying insights to design decisions\n\nExceptional communication skills able to present and explain design decisions clearly\n\nExperience working with component-based design systems\n\nCollaborative approach to working with product and engineering teams\n\nNice-to-Haves:\nExperience designing for platforms involving integrations, APIs, or developer-facing products\n\nExperience with low code/no code softwares\n\nUnderstanding of frontend technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript fundamentals)\n\nExperience
