As a leading provider of ultra-fast charging, we’re focused on delivering exceptional service and innovation to accelerate the transition to electric mobility, and it all starts with securing the best locations!\nWe’re looking for an Expansion Manager to help us find and secure top-tier charging locations along the main corridors and cities of central and Southern Spain, to strengthen our connection with our network in the rest of Europe and solidify our position as the go-to charging provider in Spain and Europe!\nYour role\nAs an Expansion Manager, you’ll focus on securing prime real estate in high-traffic areas, ensuring our stations are visible, accessible, and built for long-term success. You’ll work closely with landowners, developers, and retailers to forge strategic partnerships, helping Fastned solidify its position as the leading charging network in the region.\nTo secure the best locations, we expect you to implement a strong network development plan. You will be responsible to shape your own network and expansion efforts, and to think strategically on how you approach the various stakeholders in- and outside of your network.\nWorking as part of a dynamic, international team, you’ll also help streamline processes to maximise efficiency and effectiveness. You'll have the unique opportunity to learn about and contribute to an industry driven by the future, making a real impact on the energy transition!\nWho we are looking for\nTo succeed in this role, you need to be a strong networker and negotiator. You’ll be responsible for driving Fastned’s expansion strategy in your focus area, securing prime sites with different parties, such as landowners, real estate companies, investment funds, as well as government bodies while supporting the team’s expansion efforts.\n5+ years of work experience, with at least 3 years in a relevant commercial role\n\nStrong real estate and contract knowledge (commercial, planning, and legal aspects)\n\nSales-driven and results-oriented with strong commercial acumen\n\nProven negotiation skills, comfortable dealing with both large real estate investors and private landowners\n\nAn affinity with commercial and financial concepts, or a willingness to learn\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English\n\nWillingness to travel regularly within Spain and occasionally throughout Europe\n\nA natural curiosity and passion for learning and taking on new challenges\n\nA strong motivation to accelerate the energy transition\n\nAn existing network of key private and public stakeholders in real estate, energy, infrastructure, transport, or e-mobility sectors within Spain\n\nPrevious experience in expansion and/or real estate, with a focus on Madrid, Murcia and Andalucia\n\nGood understanding of urban regulations and proven experience liaising with public authorities\n\nOur perks\nWe work hard to change the world, but we don't forget to recognise & celebrate our successes, big and small.
