Your primary objective is to maintain continuous operational support, working on a shift basis within a dedicated team to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise our systems - supporting Fast Track's rapid growth and commitment to world-class service operations.\nYour responsibilities as a NOC Engineer at Fast Track would include:\nSystem Monitoring and Triage\nMonitor systems and respond to alerts.\n\nPerform initial triage of incidents to assess severity and impact.\n\nIncident Management and Response\nResolve service disruptions and incidents.\n\nEscalate critical issues to SRE and engineering teams.\n\nEnsure compliance with incident response procedures and SLAs.\n\nCollaboration and Coordination\nWork with SRE and other engineering teams to resolve ongoing issues.\n\nEnsure smooth operations through team collaboration.\n\nDocumentation and Reporting\nMaintain accurate incident records, actions, and resolutions.\n\nProvide regular reports on system performance and incidents.\n\nAutomation and Process Improvement\nIdentify automation opportunities to enhance monitoring.\n\nImprove tools and processes for efficiency.\n\nSLA and Performance Management\nEnsure services meet performance standards.\n\nMaintain compliance with SLA requirements.\n\nFeedback and Continuous Improvement\nGenerate reports and provide feedback for ongoing improvements.\n\nStay updated on industry trends and recommend operational improvements.\n\nCommunicate Effectively\nEnsure all communications are professional and clear to partners\n\nProvide prompt updates on incident statuses and resolutions.\n\nRequirements\nMinimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a NOC, SOC, or similar 24/7 operations environment.\n\nExperience with monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus) and incident management (e.g., incident.io or PagerDuty).\n\nBasic knowledge of networking, Linux/Unix systems, and cloud environments.\n\nAbility to quickly assess and prioritise incidents.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.\n\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\n\nAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.\n\nFlexibility to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.\n\nPassionate about continuous learning and staying updated with industry best practices.\n\nTeam player with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.\n\nAbility to work a rotating shift schedule.\n\nDevelopment at Fast Track\nAt Fast Track, we provide a dynamic environment for high-performance individuals who are ready to elevate their skills.
