Duties include preparing ingredients, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures. Cook, clean, assist other cooks and staff and deliver food in a fast-paced environment. Work may include operating a grill, oven, or fryer.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSetting up, cleaning, and organizing workstations\nPreparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.\nPreparing oven, utensils, and grill for shift\nTaking orders from wait staff or computerized system\nCooking order according to food health and safety standards\nRecommending ideas for specials or seasonal dishes\nHandling multiple food orders at one time\nMonitoring multiple food orders as new orders arrive\nDressing order for presentation\nEnsuring each guest order has the correct food and sides\nDelivering food order to wait staff in a timely manner\nStoring all food properly\nSanitizing and cleaning workstations and utensils\nReordering stock and food supplies\nMonitoring other cooks and team members\nAssisting other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed\nQUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:\nAbility to work during peak business hours, including Fridays, Saturdays and special events\nExcellent communication skills to connect effectively with co-workers\nPossess the ethics and positive attitude that support our values and culture\nAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and organize\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:\nMust be at least 18 years of age\nESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:\nMust have the ability/stamina to work a minimum of 30 hours a week\nAbility to stand/walk for 2-8 hours per day\nMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.\nWill frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry\nMust be able to work in warm environments\nWork environment: exposure to food, liquor, mixing devices, drink machines, water, sanitizers, cleaning products, knives, other sharp objects, and slippery
