This position will work alongside the Material Management Specialist to provide the customer with the best possible service in terms of quotations, product information, order processing, RMAs and delivery, Purchase orders, and information while working in close cooperation with the Key Account team independently.\nTypical Duties:\nCreate and organize a bin system to house all parts. Visual check of stock levels. Identify when new parts need to be ordered.\nTrack and maintain accurate accounting of inventory\nPurchase parts and deliver to the customer.\nWorking with the customer to identify if there are new parts or projects which we can help supply.\nReport weekly on operational performance, improvement plans, and project status\nTransact in MRP system to ship and invoice parts sold, and receipt to keep on-hand inventory at acceptable levels.\nPerform warehouse, inventory and cycle counting duties to support the business unit.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree preferred\nDemonstrated experience in Purchasing and Inventory transactions\nMinimum of 3 - 5 years of Planning, Scheduling, or Warehouse management experience within a manufacturing environment.\nPC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel). Must have the ability to efficiently generate spreadsheet information and summarize data into readable reports.\nAPICS certification preferred.\nGlobal Shop experience strongly preferred.\nPrevious manufacturing experience in a high mix / low volume business desired.\nCustomer focused.\nAnalytical and system proficiency skills.\nStrong communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening skills to affect positive outcomes.\nExceptional interpersonal and leadership skills with proven ability to effectively interface with all levels of workers, from the shop floor to management.\nSelf-motivated with high energy ability to prioritize and multi-task using strong organizational, analytical, and motivational skills along with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven, performance-based environment with stretch goals.\nForklift certification preferred.\nCompany History:\nFathom is a premier U.S. contract manufacturer with a legacy of manufacturing innovation dating back more than 50 years.
