Fathom holds ISO 9001 and AS9100 Rev D certifications and is ITAR registered.\nPosition Summary:\nThe finishing technician is responsible for assembling a product or components of a product and finishing the product through priming, lamination, gluing, sanding, trimming, glazing, and other processes. May perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them, rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis.\nKey Responsibilities\nInstalls brass inserts in rapid prototype, fiberglass and injection molded parts\nTrims rapid prototype, fiberglass and injection molded parts \nAssembles rapid prototype, fiberglass and injection molded parts\nPrepares parts for painting by sanding and sandblasting and filling with epoxy and polyester fillers\nUse of air grinding and sanding tools\nUse of saws and cutoff tools\nVisually inspects parts for defects\nStamps and labels parts\nMonitors inventory levels for production parts and BOM hardware, requests Purchase Orders and alerts supervisor when levels are low\nConducts Inventory counts\nRequirements:\nHigh School Diploma or General Education (GED) required.\nAt least 1 year of relevant experience.\nKnowledge of hand tools and other equipment.\nMust be able to lift up to 60 lbs.\nWillingness to be flexible and apply new programs and technology.\nPhysical Demands\nAble to stand for 5 hours at a time\nAble to occasionally lift 60 lbs\nAble to wear Protective Personal Equipment needed for the position\nWhat we offer:\nHealth Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
