Fathom’s extensive certifications include ISO 9001:2015, ISO 9001:2015 Design, ISO 13485:2016, AS9100:2016, NIST 800-171 and ITAR.\nPost-production Lead\nJob/Position Summary\nThe Post-Production Lead is responsible for overseeing all post-production activities to ensure finished goods meet quality standards, production timelines, and customer requirements. This role leads post-production team members, coordinates workflows, resolves production issues, and drives continuous improvement across finishing, inspection, paint, and release processes. The Post-Production Lead plays a key role in maintaining efficiency, safety, and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nLead and coordinate daily post-production activities, including finishing, assembly completion, inspection, labeling, packaging, and staging.\nEnsure production schedules and shipping deadlines are met by balancing labor, materials, and equipment availability.\nMonitor workflow and throughput to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.\nCollaborate with Finishing, Painting, CNC, Additive, Quality, Engineering, and Shipping teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless handoffs.\nTrain, and mentor post-production operators and technicians. \nEnsure team members follow standard work instructions. \nPromote a positive, accountable, and safety-focused work environment.\nEnsure post-production processes comply with quality standards, work instructions, and regulatory requirements. \nVerify finished products meet specifications prior to shipment or inventory release. \nSupport audits, CAPAs, and continuous improvement initiatives related to post-production. \nComplete shift reports, production documentation, and system transactions as required. \nEscalate risks, delays, or resource constraints to leadership in a timely manner.\nRequirements\nHigh school diploma or GED (Associate’s degree or technical training preferred). \n3+ years of manufacturing experience, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or supervisory role. \nStrong understanding of manufacturing workflows and post-production processes. \nAbility to read and interpret work instructions, specifications, and production schedules. \nProven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds on occasion. \nComfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise and standard industrial conditions. \nHours are 6:00am - 2:30pm.
